The Spring Valley pool is the perfect place for the aquatic buff to cool off and relax during the hot summer Columbia months. Members and their guests can stop by the pool snack bar to enjoy a variety of selections from the all-embracing snack bar menu. The pool is staffed with trained life guard personnel and features an adults-only swim for ten minutes each hour.
Our Olympic-sized swimming pool is home to the Spring Valley Swim Team, which has a long reputation of City Championship victories. The pool area is also the site of many of our summer social events including the annual “Pool Party Opening” to celebrate the summer season, Fourth of July pool games and parade, the “Flick and Float” which lets Spring Valley youth enjoy the pool while watching a movie on their favorite floatation device, and the season ending summer Luau.
The pool opens Memorial Day weekend and closes on Labor Day weekend.
